This laptop is install with windows 7 ultimate with 2GB of ram that makes it run smoothly.It has a hard drive of 225GB space. It does not have Ubuntu install but I will include it to make you experience difference. Inside the computer it has Bit-Defender which is an antivirus but i did not install it ( I never needed it). Windows 7 DVD is included but it is not the original copy. Even though it is not original it still needs a key.
Yes you may experience overheating that will cause the video card to not work, but I will tell you how to fix it. YOU MUST HAVE A HAIRDRYER OR SOMETHING THAT BLOWS HOT AIR!!!
- Remove all the screws in the back case with a screw driver.
- Turn it around and remove the shell and the keyboard.
- With the hair dryer turn it up at its max and point it at the video card. It has the words Nvidia
- Wait around 5 minutes. This works for me.
- Turn it on. If it starts with the words HP then it works. If not then point the hair dryer back ate the video card. Until it does work.
- Shut it off! Let it cool back down,
- Enjoy a working computer.
Condition- It is missing some screws on the screen which makes it jiggle but the screen will not fall out. The SD card reader does not work but can be easily replaceable. Other than that everything is well and working.
